My wife uses the ones with the foam with the ridges and loves them... i tried them when i wore contacts and they work good....just picked up a new pair for $12... Bobsters are nice too...
I wear contacts as well, and bought the HD models that darken and lighten with time of day and I didn't like them because as was mentioned, lots of problems with fogging etc.
Bought a pair of WileyX's the XL-1 model. End of issue....great glasses.
I wear contact lenses as well and tried the cheap Harley Davidson goggles. I had issues with them fogging and not being comfortable. I tried all the glasses they had at the dealer and found that a pair that fit my face well. They are made by Wiley X. They have light adjusting lenses and a removable foam "gasket" so you can wear them off the bike like regular sunglasses. You need to try a bunch of them because each pair fits differently. FYI: I do not have a windshield and ride with an open face half helmet. Good luck.
I wear contacts as well and have the Wiley-X light adjusting lenses. I have never had any problems with eyes drying out, with a 3/4 helmet.
I bought a pair of transition glasses from Harley that have the surrounding foam. They are very versatile in that I can wear the same glasses during the day and at night and the foam is also detachable. If you want I can post a pic.
I have the same ones, and they are wonderful!!
My eyes are very sensitive to wind when I have my contacts in, so I tried alot of glasses on, and the transitions make it so nice that you only need one pair of glasses for day and night riding!
It was really hard for me to find goggles that would work for me when i had contacts. Back when i was a kid i broke my nose a total of 4 times, which resulted in an uneven bridge. Wearing solid glasses without nose pieces is impossible for me. The only pair of goggles i found that i could make work and like, were the cheapest set i found surprisingly. I was lucky enough to get Lasik done last year, but i still wear goggles instead of sunglasses while riding, because with no windshield, sunglasses are pointless and have a tendency to blow right off my face!!
I have sort of a wide head, so most sunglasses don't fit well, i found some made by Bolle (they make ski goggles too) and they fit great, unfortunately the bridge of my nose is pretty short, so air does get through, but my eyes don't dry out very much (i wear contacts too). The last pair i bought from them were only $30 and they are polarized, i think off amazon.com.

I wear contacts and often ride with no goggles or glasses...it's only a problem above 50mph for me. That said I have had to fish beetles out from under my eyelids before and that really hurts.
I've had better luck with the cheap $10.00 wal-mart glasses than my Wiley-X SG-1's. They seem to block more air coming directly at my eyes than the Wileys.
