Sorry it happened so close, but as they say most are within a 5 mile radius from your house. I believe it's the comfort level of riding/driving in your part of town. All my many accidents have been within this range come to think of it. I think maybe I better move.

What say all, to having to have pictures to post crash threads! That'd shake up some peeps and make em fly right!

That's ok......not something I need to see, as I have seen too many bikers down.

Glad to hear it wasn't worse than that. Chrome can be replaced, skin and bones are another story. Could have been worse.

Man its amazing how accidents happen in our "comfort zones". The closest I've had to wiping so far, besides nearly being clipped by cagers a few dozen times, was in my driveway and garage. Damn front brake! Nearly dropped it in the garage a few days ago. Bike gets f'in heavy as it gets closer to parallel with the ground.

Good to hear you walked away from that one, less a bit of skin.

Got some good road rash, banged up the bike pretty good. But nothing that can't be fixed. Was my own dumb fault, not paying attention and probably a bit to much speed for the curve, add gravel...bad deal.
At least you're OK! Bikes can be fixed or replaced. People - not so easily.

So sorry to hear this Jimmy, but glad you are mostly okay. Bikes can be fixed alot easier than people.
