Makes sense to me. I was thinkin that plain ole K-Y would probably work just fine.

ok in the 96's, don't know but the 88's
Belray, 80-140 in mine

I've been using Mobil 1 75/140 in my 01 Dyna for a few years. No problem.

They usually have it here too, but not when it was time to change the oil. O'reilley's was out too, and our Wal Mart doesn't carry M1 gear oil. This is one disadvantage of living in a small town.

+1 - That's often the case here as well, and why I always try and keep one or two spare bottles on my shelf. The same goes for the Wally World 5 qt. jugs of M1 15w-50.
