Kevlar liner you can wear any type work clothes over them. The Kevlar liner are made like a mesh so they don't get hot in the summer. I can wear any type of Poser clothes over them.
If I could find a pair on the rack at a store so I could try them on AND if they didn't look like I was wearing stuffing under my pants, I would probably get a pair and wear them just for riding.
For now, I just wear carhart jeans. If I'm feeling safety conscious like after I run across some road rash pics or if it's cold I'll wear chaps over them. I also have a pair of Olympia touring overpants that I wear sometimes.

Sounds like a good idea. Do they make kevlar underwear so your azz is protected when wearing chaps. I've heard mine is pretty special so I'd like to keep it that way.
1. Do you, and/or how often do you, actually wear kevlar motorcycle jeans and/or leathers? (I won't get leathers, but it's a safety factor regardless.)
2. What do you think are the easiest to wear for style and safety?
Typically I wear more styled jeans... 7's or Rock and Republics. These would disintegrate on the road. I'm thinking about getting a pair of kevlar laced jeans, but wanted to get some opinions. Thanks in advance.
I wear riding pants (scorpion Savannah riding pants-- I don't wear leather) but have also been considering getting the kevlar liners that draggin jeans makes. That way you can wear you won clothes over them. Also they are full protection since they are 100% kevlar instead of just lined in key places. You can also get armor for them. If you considering the jeans I think these make an interesting option given then you can wear whatever jeans you wear with them. http://www.dragginjeans.com/ProductI...ductid=DLINERS

I don't have to wear Chap with protection gear. But if you want to Poser with your Chap for your freinds go for it.
It's not if you going to crash.
It's when you crash are wearing your protection.

+1 on the Kevlar jeans. I've only had the Draggin' Jeans so can't comment on one brand vs. another but I've found little difference in comfort between the two so the added insurance is worth it IMHO. For you studmuffins out there, yeah the kevlar jeans look a little bulkier but if you want to stay a stud I'd suggest wearing the extra protection and let the Harley pick up the chicks.
This year I've been wearing a pair of Draggin Jeans the wife bought me for Christmas. So far, I can't say anything bad about them. They are comfortable and fit the same as a pair of 501's. I was going to pick up another pair and found a Honda dealership that carried them... for $350 a pair! I think I'll stick to the website.
Don't worry about the padding. It gives those guys who are worried about their fat asses a little more bulk in the front to make up for the extra bulk in the rear.

i've been wearing the 'duluth trading co' pants - heavier denim and you can get them lined with (or made from) "fire hose" material which obviously is abrasion resistant cotton canvas like material. These are gusseted also to give 'the boys' plenty of room. Haven't tried the kevlar jeans on, but i'd consider them if i saw them in a store and could see how they feel. Jeans at 70-0mph will still help, but I figure most crashes are at lower speeds (once you actually hit the ground) so as long as you wear atgatt you give yourself better odds of coming out okay
