Bruised pride is better than a bruised ***!
Call them experience notches and wear them with pride.
Believe me, there are 2 kinds of bikes no matter brand or model, those bikes that have been dropped, and those that are waiting in line to be dropped, and everybody gets a turn.
Aren't you glad you got your turn over and done with?

I dropped mine with me and the wife on it ( u-turn on gravel) I picked it up rather easily, probably because I was full of adrenaline. Glad you and your bike are OK.

glad to hear you're okay, no pain no gain they say, you ain't riding much unless you have had a similar situation and tipped the bike. It's not if it happens but when and believe me it's gonna happen. It's always better when no one else notices though.

Sorry to hear that you dropped it but it happens. As far as lifting it up I actually have put some hose on the crash bars and practiced it a few times, scare the crap out of the wife when she pulled up to the garage as I was half way up. The first time I tried to be a HeeeMan I nearly unloaded in my britches.

Be safe my friend and have a great summer......

I once pulled into a parking spot and had a brain fart and forgot the kick stand. Half a second later I was standing with my feet spread wide on either side of my scoot and puling loose every groin and leg muscle I had trying to pull it back up right under me. Luckily, I was still young enough at the time to do it, although I felt the pain for a few days! Chalked it up as a lesson learned!

The key is really getting your heels close to the motor, and taking the small steps back while keeping your head and eyes up.
