Is it as simple as bleeding brakes on a car? I searched the subject and found pumps, nipples, bleeding kits ect....
Is it not just
1. fill M/C,, close,,pump pedal build pressure,,2 crack bleeder valve and let pedal fall,,3 close valve release pedal,,4 repeat until you get a high hard pedal?
I've bled many many car systems is it the same process?
on the fatty I've done it the traditional way and sometimes it works and sometimes I've had to do a reverse bleed with a pump once I couldn't get a pedal so cinched everything up and took off ( no rear brake)to get more dot 5 and at the first stop I had a pedal go figure.
good luck.
Ok thanks. I've been having to pump my rear since shortly after i got my pads replaced. I just went out and cracked it about 4 times. Really didnt get that "I got it feeling" but if it ever quits raining I'll take it out for a spin. I'll know then.
