I am looking for a new (untitled) 2008 CVO Softail Springer 105th Anniversary Edition.
I have looked on the web as much as I could and still haven't found any. I feel sure there are some dealers that still have some in stock.
What is the best way to find one? I have spoken to a couple of local dealers, but they aren't interested in helping me find a bike that isn't in their inventory.
Why would you assume that there are still some that haven't been sold? It's already a couple model years old. They sold pretty well, I would not assume there's any left.
Here's one for ya; It is a CVO too on ebay for $22.6 BIN. You auin't lookin' too hard if I can find this just by punching it into ebay search... 1764 miles on it in Iowa. Go for it dude. Do I get a finders fee?

If you are truly convinced that there is no other bike that will satisfy your craving, and that you just simply gotta have that particular bike, then be proactive. YOU have to put the energy into the search, rather than expect that someone will do it for you. Put your "Want-to-buy" "ads" out there, in the magazine to which every HD dealer subscribes, on the net,...; try to let as many as possible know what you want to buy, and that you are prepared financially. Begin contacting progressively distant HD dealers by phone and email. One may be in the hands of a collector. Be patient, but make your own chances.
Best way?
If you want it badly enough, you'll find a way to summon the energy necessary for seemingly endless calls and emails--you'll make it happen. Or just make a deal with your dealer, who already has one you like, and you won't have to travel.
