well im one of the ones that is going from a vtx to a harley but this morning on the vtx board i saw this and thought it was so funny that all the honda people bash harley but all they do is sit around and see if they can come up with harley part to fit there honda go figure that one out, well heres the link go get a laugh out of this one. http://www.vtxoa.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=157621
you know the funny thing about all this is i was on there side one time thinking that harley guy were rude to the jap bike people but since ive converted to a harley rider (soon, suppose to be in next thursday)ive changed my way of thinking. well all i have to say about that is i hope that i can enjoy being part of this forum and everyone stayes as nice as they have been to this point, and maybe we can get together sometime and have a beer.

Although there were a few cracks about Harley, they seemed to be not as nasty as some of the things I've heard "some" metric riders say. It can get a little hostile over here from time-to-time toward the metric bikes & riders, but it usually starts with a troller making some crack about Harley's.
Anyway, welcome to the Harley family and I'd love to go for a beer, but you're kinda far away. If you ever get to the Phoenix, AZ area PM me and we'll toss back a few. Post some pics of your bike after you get it and let the modifications begin.
ill post some pictures as soon as i get it and ill hold you to the cold one one day and the invit hold true if you are ever down this way. by the way that goes for anyone that want to down a sud or two just let me know and maybe we can get together.
i think one thing that funny about other groups is that they always want to talk about how harley leak, fall apart, sit on the side of the road and stuff like that but if they just took a look at like the vtx like i have as of right now, ive had to do a lot of work on it and it only has 20000 miles on it and there are ground problems, fork seal problems, clutch problems, air intake problems and theses are just some of them and thats just not on my bike but alot of other vtx riders have the same problem over and over but they just want to dog the harley, go figure that one out.
