Siren problem

I just did the Radio Shack Siren install (Used 2 sirens hooked in parallel). Everything works as it should except I am unable to disarm the alarm with the key fob. Has anyone else experienced this?

I know I should get the HD version but this mod was free for me since I already had two of the sirens already laying around. Also I think this condition might exist with the HD siren as well.

Why two? Everyone else has had success with one. Maybe you should rethink your install?

You need two fobs. One for each siren!

I doubt your problem lies with the sirens, more likely the FOB or the brain (computer for the alarm). It might be as simple a a dead battery in the FOB.

Yes! Happened to me, 1:00am at WH. Thought is was the siren, removed it, and it still did not release the system. Used the code. Next day, I used my spare FOB and it worked fine. Reinstalled the siren and recheck, no problems. Found old battery was at 2.5v, replace battery with a fresh 3.6v, check good!
