I'm looking for a driver to passenger comm system that will accept audio from my Sirius radio or iPod, etc. I don't need to talk to another bike a mile away, or even 30 feet away for that matter.
I'm looking at the Cardo G4 and Q2 systems. The reviews are mostly favorable for both. I'm wondering if the additional cost for the G4 is worth is given that I don't need distant communications.
Open to opinions here on these two systems as well as other models.
I have a motocomm st-1, It comes with everything you need and works pretty good. Its wired but once you get use to it its not bad. I used it with the wife on a trip from Illinois to Yellowstone and had no problems.
Interphone F4...go to webbikeworld and checkout their reviews. It's simply the best out there for bluetooth integration of multiple items, and gives you 1/4 - 3/8 mile bike to bike coms that are loud and clear for us older mature riders.
I have the Scala rider setup for the wife and I, it blue-tooths and has an input for an earjack type plug, I use it with the ipod shuffle. Also has an FM radio in it, fits in helmet easily and the battery life is good, we have never run out of battery. Each unit has an input so you can listen to different music then the wife. With the long range I can talk dirty to her while she is in the store at gas stations! I think you can download or look at the manual on the net to see if it does what you want.
