Help

Bolt Number 3 on my Clutch Inspection Cover has a rounded out head. I have tried a extractor with no luck. Any other tips would be greatly apprecieated.

I had one do that, I just carefully drilled it till the top came off and take the rest out and the remains will screw out when you get the cover off.

you can also use a chisel, Hit it straight on to make a mark in the head, then angle the chisel and back the bolt out.

You can also take a Dremel and grind a slot across the head then use a large slotted screwdriver to remove the bolt.

Stripped Screw

An engraving tool works well...It vibrates the screw loose and you just use the tip to turn what is left of the head counterclockwise. I've also heard a pneumatic engraving tool works better than a electric one.
