No More Harley Filters For Me!
I have switched everything from Harley now to after market.The last thing was the oil filters.I like the K&N,it is handy to work with and I run their air filters in both bikes.The local dealer really pissed me off when they denied a problem with my 07 Sport and the sudden pinging it started doing.Made a hell of a deal on a older springer they had,gave me what I paid on my 07 Sport.I have not bought a damn thing from them since.I guess the salesman I dealt with made too many good deals because he is no longer there.

Not sure I understand your post......you are mad at them because they gave you a "hell of a deal" on an 07 Springer? I don't get it...... then you have an issue with HD oil filters?.......
Maybe with some more details it would be easier to understand.....

The point is I do not spend my money at the dealer that tried to hose me.Wake up!If you continue to spend money where they try to cheat you what will ever stop them from doing it.If everyone that got ripped off there did not spend their money there then I think they would get the point.The indy right across the street from the Harley shop is busy as hell.They do good work and have fair prices and actually treat their customers with respect!

As far as buying the springer from them,who in the hell would give me 8,500 for a two year old sportster with 10,000 miles on it?I really liked the Sport and it pissed me off that they would try to say there was no problem with it when they knew there was.

You are obviously pissed about the treatment on your Sporty. What happens if there is a problem with the '07. Gonna go back and trade it in too?
If ya traded your bike in and used MoCo financing, they still got the better end of the deal. Yup you sure showed them!
As far as using K&N Filters, i think that is a good move however. I do feel they are a better product.

Thank you for your recent purchase. Now that it's final, we should tell you that we didn't give you $8500 for your broken Sportster. We just raised the price of the Springer $6000.
As far as the filters are concerned, we will forget about making $2 profit off you on 4,250 of them.
