Default Headlight modulators

Another local biker was airlifted to hospital after a cager turned left in front of him. That's it, I have decided to install headlight modulators on both bikes.

I know there was a recent thread debating the use of these modulators, so I'd like to keep this on on point, looking for input from those who have used the units. In particular, does anyone have any experience with either the Comagination or Kissan units? They seem to do the same things, but the Kissan unit is about twice the price. Also, are there any places running discounts on them?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

JB,

I have the Kisan package, Headlight & Taillight Modulator. They're easy to install and work real well. The taillight mod really gets there attention when you hit your brakes at a light. You get a discount if you purchase them together. Modulators are a real easy way to get you noticed and are well worth the investment!

Good luck.

I am also getting one of these, I know there is alot of debate about them being annoying and what not, But , If there is some guy sitting there about to pull out in front of me and stops and says, Man!!!!!!!! that flashing light is really pissing me off.
And I am still cruising down the road, hearing my daughter say" Daddy I really love riding" then I am for it.
Thanks for the link Tubz

Tubz,

Thanks a ton. I already have the HD brake light/tail light module. It uses the tail lights as auxilliary brake lights, but it doesn't flash them. I'm not sure if I can hook the Kissan up to that.

Regardless, I'm going to be ordering the headlight modulator shortly. I appreciate your input.

JB,

Send the guys @ ridesafer.com an e-mail, I'm sure they'll be able to answer your questions on the taillight mod. They're a good group of people over there.

You're welcome guys.

Ride safe!

I have the Kisan headlight modulators and they work extremely well. Actually, any headlight modulator would work well if you're looking to stop the Cager from saying things like, "Gee Officer, I JUST DIDN'T SEE HIM !!!" as you're being carted away by ambulance.

I understand that some folks my be irritated by them, and I don't usually use them, but, in instances where you feel you need to have them on to be noticed by folks, you can turn them on. I have them set to modulate my HIGH beams, so, if I need them, I just turn on the HIGH beams. I only use them about 10% of the time, on average.
