Was out last night on my 14 sgs with daymaker reflector headlight and auxillary lights. Thinking I need more light, does the 8700 evo2 headlight have more output than the daymaker? Anybody know if there is an evo2 auxillary light option, can't seem to find any. May just keep the reflector auxillary lamps and order the evo2 headlight, won't match looks but oh well
If you need more than a daymaker some thing is not right. Maybe something off a freight train or river boat.
The daymaker auxillary lights are great, it's just the headlight that sometimes seems lacking to me as far as light output. The evolution 2 I imagine would be quite a bit brighter
I'm very interested in the adaptive lights, that looks like the answer to cornering with a motorcycle at night.
I was coming back to the campground just after dark the other night, the only way there was through a curvy stretch. It felt like I was driving drunk, every time I'd lean into a curve, the view of the road just disappeared!
Hope the price comes down soon, $500 on up is just too much for me...
