Default Need some help troubbleshotting ignition problem!
I have a 2005 Sportster 883, when I went to come home last night the ignition wasnt working. The speedo light came on like in "acc" mode, but the head lights the tail lights and the oil and engine idot light would not come on. Also there is no juice to the starter. The bike is still at the arena and I need to try to get it home asap! HELP! I have a HD maintance manual I brought when I got the bike a few years ago, but can't find the damn thing now that I need it, and the shop is closed on Mondays here!

Check your fuses, then your connections at the switch then the battery. Even if loose they can cause an internittent fault.
