Can anyone help with the settings on these Progressive shocks????I have a 135lb female rider whats the best setting???These are Black shocks and I dont know the model #.I bought this bike used. Thanks again Ken
Depends. If they are the HD shocks (Heavy Duty) the settings won't be the same as the Standard shocks, and also without at least a model number (412, 440, 812, 880, etc..) it's kinda hard to say. It also depends on the bagage you plan on dragging around, not just the lady herself.
Your best bet is to try out different things. Just set it to the middle setting, go for a ride with your GF. Make sure nothing bottoms out and see how you and her feel about the ride. If too stiff with no bottoming, lower it. If there's bottoming, raise it.
mine has 11" lowered shocks. I have it on the stiffest setting to keep from bottoming/rubbing tire when two up. still drag the pipes easily. it's too stiff for solo but most of my riding is with my wife so I just leave it there.
