Removing lowers

If you are going with that Fat chic with toothpic legs look then pull them off.

I would leave them on. At speeds of 20 mph and over they actually direct air across the jugs and the ventury effect of the lowers actually speeds up the airflow across the juggs making for even cooler air.

I just adjust the wings on my batwing to push air across me for better body cooling. That and long angled highway peg mounts to get my legs out in the airflow.

Off in the hot summer vegas heat and back on for the winter.

I agree with roadrunner99. The Ultra does look better with them on, but a lot more cooling wind with them off. The new lowers are a lot easier to take off then the old design.

i put them on my RG love the way it looks and ride they are not vented on a RG over 90 i have to take them of weathers been pretty mild this year in the 80s so not to bad. YET!

The lower fairings that mount to the crash bars they come standard on ultraglides. but since most baggers have the same frame set up can be put on any of them the ones for road glides are taller and not interchangable.
