just wondering.....thinking about taking mine off

Specified wanted them off when the new chrome lowers went on. Much better now.

I took all the reflectors off. Isn't that what your suppose to do?

Been a cop 26 years and never thought about or looked for such violations, nor have I ever heard other officers discussing the enforcement of such violation. Lighting violations are another story, but most usually don't bug bikers about accent lighting, it's the basic brake, tail and headlight not working violations. For me it was always a courtesy stop to advise the rider of the problem for safety reasons.

I won't recommend removing them, but I don't have any on either one of my Harleys, but left them on the BMW.

I can't see getting pulled over for it but I can see a lawyer saying their unlicensed speeding drunk illegal alien texting driver would have seen you if you hadn't removed safety equipment.
