I'm on the hunt for my first new bike. What is the best dealership in the topeka "area" I would be willing to travel 100 miles for a great deal. Topekas dealership is really small, and I just visited Worths new place in KC, HUGE!!! Need a good place to do "bad credit " financing too. Good money now but a bad history. Thanks all.
If you are willing to make a bit of a drive...Cycle Connection here in Joplin, MO is really good. Our dealership is pretty big compared to town size. We have more bikes than clothes...that's something to be proud of!
Anyway, Rob, the finance manager, has been able to get good rates for a couple of friends that had recently ( within 3-5 years) declared bankruptcy. The dealership is also negotiable on prices.
Worth north will match any dealers price and then beat it by a bit.. I got online and shopped around all over the U.S. I had several low prices, one of the lowest being Central Harley in Olatha Ks.. I took their quotes up to Worth North and they did like they said.. they beat the others prices.
They had advertised that they would beat any dealers price... or you get $500.00 in Harley gear. I was really just looking for the $500.00 in free gear.
Damn ad tricks.. now I own a new Harley, purchased below MSRP with a 1000.00 in add-ons for free.
Never bought a 'new bike' from them, but myself and a lot of guys I know in the SE Kansas, SW Missouri, and NE Oklahoma area visit Cycle Connection in Joplin for parts and other stuff.
Their dealership seems to be more 'biker friendly' than some of the larger dealers in big cities, which these days seem to be more of a Harley Clothing Boutique Store than actual dealership.
Doc, thanks for the reply. Can the finance be done over phone? If some details could be worked out I would be more than willing to travel.
Yes, a lot of the financing can be done over the phone. I just talked with Rob, and he can get you hooked up. I'll pm you with more details.
EDIT: By the way, welcome to the forums!!!
EDIT, again: Looks like you can't receive PMs...anyway, here's the scoop: The store's number is (417)623-1054. Rob's extension is 226. I've talked to him a little bit already, so tell him Travis sent you and he'll know "who you are", in a sense. If you'd like anymore information, PM me or something.

Where are you from? I haven't met a lot of people from around the area. I'll have to keep an eye out for you!
