My wife and I were out riding and it started raining so hard I could not see..drove down the road and saw what I thought was her so I pulled over and stopped..it was a mailbox..yea it was raining, met up with her a short time later at a gas station with an awning and of course shes asking me if I got lost.
only your opinion, i could just as easily say "Those who avoid riding in the rain are Wussies" see, now we are even..just for your info, for the last 3 months my bike has been my only transport and i MUST work.

I got a buddy at work who rides a Honda rain or shine (his only cage is a Geo Metro, so I don't blame him for using the Honda!) He tends to rag me when I drive my pickup due to wet weather. I fire it right back that he lives 5 miles from work and I live 25 miles away! All in good fun though!
As a south Louisiana rider I find myself in the rain often, as it rains almost daily in the afternoon in the summer, it seems a pleasent reminder of what it would feel like 20 degrees cooler and unless it's "pouring" I just ride till it stops and you are dry in 15 mins anyway.
