Default Rain

Most times I avoid riding in the rain at all cost, but yesterday I got caught in a down poor and it really was not bad at all. In fact it was somewhat enjoyable. It was a typical hot and humid midwest day and it cooled me down and enjoyed it all the way home.

I got caught in a thunderstorm all the way home from work last night as well, I ride in the rain all the time, aint no big deal, and as you say, as long as i can see, it is enjoyable simply because its different.

Only thing I hate about it is having to pour out my boots. Other than that I don't mind at all. Won't cancel a trip cuz of it like some people I know, that's for damn sure.

I ride in the rain. In fact, it has rained on my maiden ride home from the Harley Dealership after picking up my only 2 motorcycles.

+1 Hate filling my boots with water and hate being cold. I don't mind the rain when it is warm but I hate getting caught in the rain when it is cold.

During the summer in Alabama, it will rain somewhere nearly everyday. Chances are I will ride into then out of the rain. So I get soaked, then dry out.

I don't mind rain as long as it isn't a torrential downpouring. I rode through a major downpour in northern Ontario one time back in the 80's. It came down so hard the road flooded causing me to hydroplane. It's bad enough with four wheels, but what's really unsettling is the feeling of hydroplaning on two wheels. I was so close to dumping my bike, but was lucky enough to be able to stop under an overpass until it let up.
