Makes me feel like such a NOOB! So upset with my self.
I decided to take the kid for a ride today. I just got a new sissy bar (18" Attitude Stick with pad) for him and hyped him up, telling him how we were going for a longer than normal ride. Then low and behold after taking the bike out of the garage and before telling him to hop on with me I noticed that I had left the ignition on from our previous ride this last Saturday. Doh! Needless to say I had to let him know we weren't going for a ride after all because his Dad decided to act like a NOOB. :/
Hum... it's a battery. Some of you guys need to hand in your Man cards.
Trickle charger is the best idea, 15 minutes would gotten you enough for a start at the medium setting and you could've taught your kid about proper safety when dealing with batteries.
Yes, you missed an opportunity to teach the kid a few safety tips and show him how not to give up when little things kick ya in the nads. 10 minutes and you should have been running.
But, there should be a next time. Don't let it slip by again though, we aren't guaranteed tomorrow.
