Default Symax II Internal Sunshield

Can anyone who has this helmet tell me if the internal flip down sun shield comes down far enough to be used or is it more of a bother than useful? Not intended to be a pro or anti helmet thread cause i could care less if you wear one or not.

Personally not dark enough for my taste but it's handy to have when you get caught with your face in the sun w/o sunglasses. When I have a choice I wear sunglasses with the helmet.

It comes down far enough. Depending on how it's sitting on my head there are times I can't put it all the way down cause it hits the nose. Only wear mine during the winter months when it's a bit on the cool side and the times I've used the sun shield it's done good.

Ditto...but IMO the tint needs to be a bit darker.

You can do better with some painter's tape, about two inches, across the top of the external visor. Really blocks the low sun angels. Kind of like tearoffs in Nascar.
