Today I received some junk mail from Allstate Insurance, trying to get me to switch motorcycle coverage.
On the back side was a helpful, safety list showing the various "hand signals" used in group riding.
The one shown below I was not familiar with, and couldn't help but laugh...
I'm positive they didn't cover this one in the MSF course.
Is there a different signal if there are women riders in your group?
Too many people want to over think hand signals. Point at tank means fuel. Point at your own crotch means bathroom. Hand flat moving up and down below the waist means slow down. Patting top of head means cop. Drinking motion is self explanatory. All fingers down--thumb out---long finger extended means someone is number one. Flash too many hand signals at me and I begin to wonder if it is a compulsive/obsessive disorder.
Looks like the Shake Weight. Can't help but laugh every time the commercial comes on, the one targeting the women buyers was bad enough but they had to come out with a commercial showing some guy using it and it just doesn't look right.
