Maybe someone has solved the feet not reaching the peg problem already. I think you should take her early and often. I is so important for a daughter to feel a strong bond with her father.

Does your softail have the threaded holes on the frame underneath your seat like my '96 did?

I put foot pegs there.

I ride my 6 and 8 year old daughters on mine regularly. Ride the speed limit, don't get over 65 or so on the bypass. I started a thread asking for tips on taking an 8 year old for a daytrip. Got advice that ranged from 'go for it' to 'picture her dead on the street'. You know the child, you know yourself, you know the bike. Use your own judgement and go with it. I say you will be just fine riding along with the flow of traffic.

Have a great time. She will remember it forever.

It has the threaded holes where the solo seat mounts. That might just work. I hadn't thought of that.

Also, I do hope she remembers it for some time. She really had a great time. She also experienced providing the motorcyclist wave to a few fellow riders passing by.

i rode my grandson at age one with grandma holding. I also gave my granmother who was 85 at the time a ride on my 1100 Suzuki, and my motherinlaw at age 80 a ride on my 07 Ultra. No complaints from anyone!!!
