Just ordered an 8" recurve shield for my 09 Streetglide from Clearview shields in Colorado. Need it for the trip to Sturgis. Those guys were amazing with customer service. Usually a 3-5 week wait as they make you shield for you. I told them I couldn't wait that long and they found me a slightly blemished shield with my requirements and shipped it out that day, 20% off. Anybody had any experience with Clearview??
Had mine after the first week. Ultra shield is too high. Running it for 2 years now with no problems. The shield was shipped exactly when they said it would be. People say their blems are usually very minor and a great deal. Glad it worked for you.
BTW, welcome to the forum.
Just received my 6.5 inch recurve smoked shield from Clearview. Excellent communication throughout the process. It took about 5 weeks to make and ship my shield.
The shield came sealed in protective plastic with instructions to try it on, and ride around with it to make sure it was what I wanted. Once you take off the protective plastic seal, you own it.
Overall, a great experience with these folks. I would buy from them again in a heartbeat.
