i got talked into a new bar last night. had a great burger and plenty of free beer. met some great folks. had only one disagreement about politics but it ended on a positive note after we realized we had the same views but were using different words to describe our stances.
so my buddy and i leave and theres my bike covered in beer and glass. one of the turn signal lenses is gone.
miller high life. wtf? if you gotta trash a harley at least spend a few bucks on a decent beer. totally offensive and uncool.
this was a small bar with only a handful of possible candidates for douche-of-the-century. we talked about it and decided its probably the freak at the end of the bar. he was drinking high life and the bar tender said he started acting weird the minute me and my buddy show up. this isn't hard evidence, and its possible the bar tender has an axe to grind. but it sounds plausible to me.
i hate to fck him up cause he's just a runt and he aint going to learn a damned thing from it anyway.... but we're talking about my bike. its got my own blood in the cases. its my family and it never did a damned thing to him.
if you're sure it was him i would show him just how much some of us can be attached to our rides. shame you didn't catch them in the act. i would probably be in jail right now.
It sounds to me like you are scared of the runt.
On a serious note, sucks someone screwed with your ride. If you do not have witness, not much you can do. Even if you did have a witness, calling the cops and getting him to pay for the damage is a better idea. However, punching someone in the face feels better.
Too much unwanted attention is the reason I don't take my bike to bars anymore. Too many drunken opinions, not to mention wobbly people hanging around the bike.
word spreads fast sometimes in small town.. Might find out who it was.
don't know if filing a report would help or hinder,, pends on Ur actions to come.
Sure sucks though. some times its the mousy little big man syndrome types that causes the problems
Unless you know for a fact who did it, you should just chalk it up to a shitty experience and forget it. Now, if you find out for a fact, with no error who did it, then a less than polite "discussion" to explain some understanding is in order. Good luck. Noname
