Here is the situation: You're 3 hours from home riding when the rear goes down, no tools and you have a tire with tube and no way to patch it. By the way its almost 8:00pm and everythings closed. What would you do?

3 choices.
1. Find some tools and a tire patch.
2. Call a friend to bring a trailer or truck.
3. Find a bar filled with divorced women (pick the one most likely to have tools and a tire patch in the garage).
and after this problem is solved, get rid of the laced wheel and get something that you can plug to get your *** either home or somewhere to get taken care of.
i used to have laced wheels, but after 2 flats, and hog not showing up to give me a tow, i decided 'never again'..... now i just carry a plug kit with me. haven't had to use it on my bike, but have on a buddy's.
Call HOG and have it towed to closest dealer. Then call for ride home. Contact dealer in am and have them put a new tire on. I personally would not ride on a patched or plugged motorcycle tire any longer than I had to.
ok , now that its been brought up , does fix a flat really work with tubes and spokes ?? I run a solid rear but spokes up front and often thought about keeping a can with me
