Harley Interstate??
Stopped at a store to pick up a few things..not on the scooter at the time..and in the parking lot is a Honda Interstate..wool seat cover..trailer in tow..with 6 Harley badges..2 on the tank..2 on the fairing..2 on the side covers. On the way out..i see the guy getting on the bike..and ask him why he has HD badges on a Honda. He replies (It is a Harley..a Harley Interstate..the only Goddamn decent bike Harley ever made.)...dead serious look on his face. Fired up his sewing machine motor and took off???? Some things i just don't understand...

I remember seeing a video on youtube awhile ago. The guy had come across a Honda Valkyrie with all HD badges on it. Pretty sure it was in the parking lot of "The Last Resort" in Daytona. There were a lot of jokes in the background about a mysterious fire about to take place on the bike.
I always see the guys wearing full HD gear while riding a metric, but changing the badges is a bit over the top.

A while back I saw a Kawasaki Drifter on Ebay turned into an Indian duplicate, complete with Indian logos on the tank, Indian-head light on the front fender, etc.

Pics would help. You sure it wasn't a Tour Glide? Or maybe a mongrel of some sort, Harley tins on a GW frame? Why do you care what logos he has on his ride, or why they are there?
