I knew that the author had no idea what he was talking about. So my half helmets and open face helmets are novelty helmets and I should only wear my full face and modular helmets.
My head, so my choice of helmet to wear (mandatory helmet state).
My body, so my choice of what, if any, protective gear to wear.
I imagine he wouldn't mind having a good set of armored gloves and jacket on either?
Oh, yeah, especially in hindsight. If this had been me I would be missing my nose and my knuckles right now. On the other hand, I rode The Dragon yesterday and was smart enough to ride within my limits and keep my eyes on the road.
