I waited until I was 45 to actually buy my first bike, a Deluxe. I had rode bikes before, but never owned one.

Great choice!!!

I think buying what you want when you want is Great. It is YOUR money!!!

Do take a MSF course if you can, it did help me with the basics.

Nah... you waited until you were in your 30s because of your bank account!! :-)

Just kidding, Nicky. Congratulations on your new ride. It's a beauty!

Be safe brother
Wow. I mean wow.

Ignore this dribble. My first bike was a Harley. I was 17 and it was a lowrider.

Don't think about falling. You may not. Just cause some do. I know people been on bikes 20+ years and have yet to go down.

You'll fnd out there like
In here there is always one guy who wants to **** on your parade.

Enjoy that bike. Its a beaut. And an awesome choice for a first bike.

That thing is awesome! Not a huge fan of the softails, no offense to the ST riders, but I love the way yours looks, freaking gorgeous!
That is the nicest ST I've ever seen. I will look at the ST's in a new light from now on.

Congratulations on the new Deluxe, nice bike I'm sure you're going to love it. Of course I'm a Deluxe owner so I might be just a little bias. Ride safe and enjoy.

Awfully schnazzy for a first bike, good call on waiting. Had my first motorcycle for well over a year now and still love it.

Enjoy the ride!
