Long story as short as possible.. i ordered a set of 4" pullback risers about a month and a half ago and was told then they were on backorder, scheduled for release 9/7 i beleive.. just out of curisoity i checked with the dealer yesterday and they said the date has been pushed back till late sept, early oct.... jeeez.. anyways, they ran a locate for me and gave me a list of dealers across the country that was showing a set in stock.. they said i could call or they could when they got a guy freed up to make all the calls.. i called 14 HD dealers yesterday evening and i got the last set reserved for me.. they don't sell over the phone or ship out to private partys.. wierd, but ok.. my HD dealer had to call them and they would gladly ship them here.. anyways i got confirmation this evening that they are on the way and was shipped from texas at 5PM.. Hopefully by monday i'll have my new risers and i'll really be able to enjoy the new seat i got over a month ago..
Damn, I hate to worry you but have to wonder why the delays, and backorder?
Could be they are coming on a slow boat from somewhere. Could also be a design or manufacturing issue that is still being worked out.
The latter would scare me more.
some of this is strange to me...
no matter what aspect of life i am in...
BMX, motocross, Cars, trucks, bikes, anything...
the dealer is usually the last place i go to..
I have always been this way.. i kinda thought everybody was..
