Default here goes nothin

Did a little research on the fuel/air screw and the plug that has to be drilled out to get to it.. Looks like I have to remove the carburetor to drill out the plug. I hope I do this right.. Hate to mess up my bike after three weeks of having it.. Wish me luck my friends

If you have a "right-angle" drill, you should not need to remove the carb to drill out the plug. Removing the carb is not a big deal though, so do not invest in a right angle drill if you do not already have one.

ALL HD's come from the factory running a little lean ( so they can meet the EPA standards.) Look at the plugs. Are they white? If so, you most definately have a lean condition.

well I took the carburetor out today.. Drilled out the plug and waalaa.. there was the adjustment screw.. when I bought the bike the guy had a jet kit that he never put in.. so since the carburetor was out i decided to throw the jet kit in.. tightened the fuel/air screw down, then backed it off 3 1/2 turns.. thats what the instructions said to do.. ...any input on that?... put it all back together and drove around for about 20 miles or so.. no Gasping sound, no farts.. had to turn the idle down but other then that seem to run great.. Ill give her a good run this weekend. thank you to everyone who responded to my questions
