A long w/ the noise ban on motorcycles after 2013. Where can we get a loud A$$ Horn !! Theres some kin in the neighbor hood that has one that sounds like a train. Any suggestions?
Has somebody an airhorn for sale with the sound of a freight train? Than I like to buy and install it. Because some stupid asses drive their cars with the speakers on 40 and only the sound of a crash against a concrete truck or the sound of a freight train will wake them up...
I've too been looking for a loud horn. BUT. I have a new 2010 FLSTC and the horn seems much louder than anything I've had on any previous bike-I've had maybe twenty in my long lfe!- DID HARLEY GREATLY IMPROVE THEIR HORNS ON THE NEW BIKE? ARE THE AFTERMARKET HORNS THAT MUCH LOUDER THAN THE CURRENT STOCK HARLEYS? I don't mean to hijack the thread but this is a serious safety issue and hopefully everyone is interested in these questions. Thanks.

a good loud air horn will be somewhere in the neighborhood of 120 to 140 decibels. For comparison, permanent hearing damage begins with prolonged noise levels somewhere north of 85 or so decibels.
I got the Mini Beast air horn. It's loud, but IMO if stock horn is a "toot", then the MB is "TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT", but not the "BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT" of a train horn.
In summary, all that means is the train horn is lower dual frequencies than the MB. I had hoped for something closer to a train horn myself.
