Harrah's is very convenient. Any of the downtown hotels will work. Stay downtown and you can just walk to see the sights. Plan on spending most of a day in Virginia City, but get there early or you will be a couple of miles out of town. Bring your Mardi Gras beads for V.C.

Have fun!, Ron

My two cents: Street Vibrations isn't nearly big enough to necessitate staying that far out of town. Not to mention, if you were to get back to your Fernley hotel room and decided you wanted to step out to do ANYTHING, you'd be riding back to Reno to do it.

In a nutshell, I don't think the majority of bikers would be happy coming from out of town for a rally and staying in po-dunk, uh, I mean small town Fernley. Just sayin, if you can find a room in Reno of Sparks, take that instead of staying in Fernley.

First; hell no I dont have any thing to do with the city of Fernley but do live here.

Second; I had read on a thread (dont rember who and were and did not have the time to respond at the time) that they were having a hard time finding a place to stay. So I thru my .02$ in to try to help out fellow riders.

Good luck finding a room this late! Many underestimate this event, it's bigger than most think. Thank God my bud lives there..
