I figured after 7 times or so trying to fix it with no luck I need to go a different direction. If by some chance it gets fixed HD along with me decide on some cash and I keep the bike. Time will tell.

I'm not sure how the lemon law works here in VA but my understanding is that it is something that is implemented after the dealer says they can't do any more for you and stops trying to fix the issue.

whats to decide? that decision was already made when you purchased the bike. if you think that they are going to refund you some money, good luck with that.

Buddy of mine successfully used WI's lemon law for his '07 Street Glide. Has some electrical issues the dealership couldn't pin down. MOCO told the dealer to just let him pick out a new bike.

He went from a '07 vivid black Street Glide to a brand new '08 Black Pearl with a tour pack! Didn't cost him a dime extra.

And of course... the original bike was on the show room floor 2 weeks later for sale. Poor sumbeech.

The dealership claimed they found the culprit to the electrical issue when my buddy questioned them about reselling the bike. We'll never know for sure... but yeah I'm pretty sure there was now warranty left.

Seems like a legitimate complaint now that you explain it. Might have something under the Lemon law - here it would kick in if the dealer is unable to fix it after a certain period of trying.

7 times on the starter? 7 times on the clutch? Which or what combo? Starting the bike eats up clutches? Maybe I'm just slow today. That happens.

Two clutches in 27,000 miles? The harley clutch is one of the strongest parts on the bikes. But I believe you, really I do.

I would love to find out what it causing the problem. This is my 6th new HD in 15 years and the ONLY one with problems. I guess at 18,000 miles a year It was going to happen sooner or later.
