I've heard of some problems with the 07 to present models. Does anyone have an 2007 or later model, with high milage, that has had pretty much trouble free.
Thanks Jonnierock
not one harley built from Jan 1st 2007 until today, has EVER, EVER, had one single problem. not even a backfire from the exhaust while downshifting to a stoplight.
I've heard that Victory's and Honda's have been having problems lately ? anyone have a high mileage 2011 Victory or Honda ? how are you dealing with all the problems ?
Oh, one time, my gas pedal got stuck to the floor on my Harley, and killed 6 people.
Well, my 08 with 26k for some reason, recently has begun to kick my ***. I'll be going down the highway when for no reason, the thing just reaches up and starts bitch-slappin me! Nothin but trouble this one... go figure...

let me guess, you heard this from the same people that say that all harleys leak, vibrate, lose parts, etc. oh, and don't forget, you can't use synthetic oil cause it is too slippery and will cause bearing skate.
in case you hadn't noticed, amf has been gone for quite some time and the quality has been going up since.
my 07 had 39,000 miles when i traded it in, only problem i had was a bad speedo reset switch. my '10 has 8,000 miles. so far, no problems.
quit listening to your friends who ride metrics. they lie.
30,000 on my 07 with no problems. 25,000 on my brother in laws 07 with no problems. Unless you want to count a couple burnt out light bulbs. 10,000 on my sons 07 with no problems.
My Dad's next door neighbor's nephew has a friend who knows a guy who delivers coffee to a guy who lives next door to a guy whose brother in law has a niece who is dating a guy whose best friend works for Harley Davidson and told him they were having lots of problems with the Sportster Softails.
About 32K on my '07 Train, and just basic maintenance as needed. I'm sure I'll pick up another bike somewhere down the road, but this one is my keeper.
