I’m looking into upgrading the braking power of my ’08 SuperGlide. I want something that provides more braking power than a pad upgrade. Does anyone have any experience with the Jaybrake J-6 ultra/extreme calipers? I’m wondering how much of an improvement they would be? Thanks. http://www.jbrake.com/brakes_main.html
I prefer to ride with two fingers covering the front brake (old habit from dirt bike riding). The stock brakes need more force to brake quickly. Other bikes I've riden had plenty of braking power with two fingers.
Dual disks up front will help. I don't understand why that is not standard with HD.
Good point...I've always assumed it was down to style, but I guess cost must be lurking close by. A single disk arrangement really is inadequate these days IMO...

Same thing here...one of two fingers. I had a riding instructor tell me to put them back on the grip so many times, he told me he was gonna cut them off!

I ride that way also and he would yell at me also at the advanced riding classes. As soon as the class was over I switched back. It is now accepted by the MSF and has been changed in their handbook. .
