Duluth Trading "Blacktop Jacket"
For a while I've been looking for a good, textile cool-weather jacket for commuting in the fall, but I have not been happy with any of my synthetic fiber ones.
Well, after a 45-minute test ride, I can say this jacket is amazing! It is lined with windproof fleece that really is pretty windproof below 90mph. Has many of the standard biker jacket features, and is cut generously for the riding position. Not binding or restrictive in any way.
Really happy with the purchase!
If anyone is looking for a cool-weather textile jacket to add to your biker wardrobe, or an alternative to a leather jacket for whatever reason, this thing will not disappoint.
Heard about Duluth Trading's biker stuff here. HDF comes through again!
Ever since I lived in Seattle, I always was a fan of Filson stuff (they're a Seattle company). I have worn through their "shelter cloth" stuff and their "tin cloth" takes forever to break in. Excellent stuff, though, but I have watched it get more and more expensive over the last 20 years. But the Duluth stuff seems just as heavy-duty and is a quarter of the price!!!
Maybe everyone's heard of Duluth Trading before but it's new to me
dang!
