Guys, I'm 41, I understood that it is better to buy goods produced in the United States or Europe. I prefer to give more money and to choose better quality.
In case I have specific questions to people with more experience.
Are convenient for walking and riding Red Wing Engineer No.2990?
Resistant to stresses Are Red Wing Engineer No.2990?
Provide a better protection of the foot?
Is it worth it to give $ 230 for these boots?

Sorry, in the country where I live do not sell Redwing boots . If you are selling, I would not bore you with my problems, I'd go to the store and see them.
I don't have any experience with the boots you asked about but I ride with a pair of boots i got at Sears. The most important thing to me, next to the fit, is that they have a good lug sole. You don't want your foot slipping out from under you as you back your bike out from a parking spot. Gravel and sand are your worst enemies.
Ive had my Red Wings for about 3 years now and are very comfortable for riding and pretty good for walking.(I ran out of gas once I had to walk 5 miles each way and they did make the feet a little tired) They have been on my feet sometimes for days and never had a problem with stink or sweat either.I sprayed them with a waterproof spray when I first got them and have never had wet feet ever.(and I dont mind riding in the rain if I get caught) They do not burn or melt (heel & sole) when kept on the pipes, and will not get slippery or stained when they come in contact with oil or gas.
Whould I get another pair of them??? Damn right!! I think I paid app. $250.cnd but well worth the price. You will not be dissapointed. They might feel a little snug on the top of the foot when you first get them but don't worry they do stretch out a bit.
Hope this helps you.
Chop.

I bought a pair from Carolina Boots back in 1998 for $100. They have steel toes, thinsilin insulation, and are water proof, and have vibram soles. I wear them about 4 months out of the year, (I ride year round) and when ever it rains. I keep them mink oiled and clean. I've ridden my Harleys about 130k and I have a Triumph, Ultra Kustom too that I ride. These boots still look almost brand new, I would definately buy them again.
