EVO Push Rod Covers
I own a 1988 EVO FLHS and am having a lot of trouble with the push rod covers. They are sealed with O-rings that I can't get to be oil tight. The Harley dealer has had it twice and it still leaks. With the Florida State HOG Rally going on next week the dealer asked me to wait until the rally is over and he will see to that the service department gets it fixed. Any of you have this much problems with the O-rings?

Skip oiling the orings if they are leaking constantly you have hard part problems . Has this been an ongoing issue that kinda keeps getting worse or a new all of a sudden thing ? Got oil blowing out anywhere else ? air cleaner or breather ? On a 1988 motor sounds like blow by internally pushing oil past things .
If you have to ride get some Hylomar and give the o-rings a smear before seating everything . It will stop your leaks temporarily .
