3000 pounds of irony....
Driving out of the neighborhood this morning and almost got clipped...
Dude has a "Harley Country" sign on his mailbox, harley stickers on all his cars, and no harley...
As I am passing his driveway he is backing out with SUV and apparently not paying attention... Almost plowed right into me.

I have a buddy who owned a honda "not cutting hondas" and wore
Harley boots, jacket, t-shirt, the whole nine yards. Was quite a site.
He was a real good friend and a while back going through a divorce
rode the honda decked up in HD up to the bar. I felt bad and like
I said he was a good friend, so I tossed him the keys to my sporty
and told him to come back in a few hours. I think he forgot about
the divorce for awhile.

In his five year campaign of propaganda between him buying his first bike in 20yrs (FLHRC) and me getting mine, Dad bought me a pair of Harley boots for my birthday. They sat in the closet for three years until I brought home a Street Bob.

My nieghbors are all really old or retired. So I almost think I should ride down the side walk just to be safe. I also live in a farming community and well, its no picnic sharing the streets with them either.
