03 Ultra, whats the difference with the 100th anniversary?
I read on a HD info site that the 100th Ultra had what they called "Rollover" colors. Well I have a Ultra in Luxury Blue Pearl with a sticker with the 100th anniv. and the badging on the motor. But It does not have the wide striping with the 100th, nor does it have the Steel badges. Im just confused. Now I was not led to believe that it was a special Ultra but I am just curious is all. I dont care either way, I imagine I'll change the color but its not only confusing to me but was also confusing to the guy at the dealer also. So if their is someone here that can help me that would be great. I always said if I bought a Harley it would be a big one. Today I own one of the most beautiful bikes on the road, except for the color, LOL Thanks Olchop

can't answer - but, I have 2 buddies that have '03 Ultras; one is dark Blue (I'm guessing the same as yours??) and it has the wide "HD" stripes. the other is the Silver & Black, also with the stripes. both have the badgings, although, the Silver & Black is a Gold Key version. my 03 RKC is Silver & Black with the striping and has the steel badgings and engine marking.
As with most of HD's "Anniversary" models, you have the Anniversary, and regular models. Anniversary models, although really no difference in the bike itself, its all in the color, and badging. No other differences unless its a CVO model.
remember the 105th aniversary...they went with the two-toned copper on all the anniversary bikes..seat was slightly different, (cover only) badging was different, everything else was the same.
This was my '03 Ultra Classic but it was not an Anniversary model. It had an Anniversary decal on the front fender but the real Anniversary models had badges on the tour pak, fender, tank, fairing and were all Black and Silver in color.

Well I have no clue either, I really do not like the color so I will be changing it soon i think. Its a big sexy bike so I think an Old fashioned basic color will be proper for it. I was thinking the Glacier White, I think Classy deserves Classy. To all who responded.. Thank You Very Much!!! Safe riding to all Juan
Assuming it's the same as my 105th, the only difference is the unique two tone paint and 105th anniversary badges Cost about $500 more than a standard two tone paint set. And it has a small plate around the ignition switch that says 105th anniversary model and the production number on it
isen`t it amazing how people drink the koolaid on these so called anniversary models pay more money and now everyone wants to repaint anyway esp the silver/black, and of course the really ugly copper battery edition

The 100th means nothing to me. Its a beautiful bike with a ugly paint job. But as for the comment about wanting to change the color, I understand that maybe some dont agree.. But its about showing who we are, personality.. Kinda like buying a new bike and putting new this and thats on it. Why not just ride it the way it is!! Bahumbug... Its your bike,,, Ride,, Love it,, Be yourself Show off what you got no matter who says what!!
