I'm another Canadian taking it up the a$$ to the ture of about $100 a MONTH for my insurance and I ride a 1995 Road King and have a clear driving record . What's worse is unlike our brothers in the Southern States , we only get 7 months TOPS for a riding season !

Just took a look at my policy; I'm with Progressive, and I insure, full coverage, 4 bikes for about $1000/year. That includes full towing, etc, and one of the bikes is a 2010 Super Glide.

State Farm
100/300/100 = $32.xx a month
Total for the bike, my dually, and OLs car $88.00 a month.

When I moved from Ohio to Phoenix my Ins. went up X 3. But then again my average riding miles just about tripled also.

I am the one with basic coverage. I pay about $75.00 a year for liablilty. Been riding since I was 10 years old and never would have had a claim if I had full coverage. I figure I have saved enough to pay for anything that I might have happen now. I will be 70 years old in 31 days. I have never carried any more than just liability.

I'm paying $245/yr for full coverage with foremost. I had progressive for 6 yrs and they raised my rates up 2yrs ago for no reason forcing me to shop around. Even allstate couldn't match foremost's policy and I have 3 vehicles and my house insured with them.
