This poll is inconclusive and will provide no real information of any value. Insurance is all about WHERE you live; YOUR driving record; YOUR choice of coverage; and WHAT you are insuring. I pay $819 a year. What does that tell you? Nothing. Of what value is that to you? I didnt say how many bikes I have or their age. I didnt tell you what my driving record is. I didnt tell you what my coverages are or the location where I live. Apples are not oranges. Just sayin.....

On the contrary, out of the 108 that did reply, 66% were below $500 per year. My company applied all the possible discounts, region, multi-line, claims free, my age, and a clean driving record, they STILL can't offer anything below $1000 per year. MY point is that we as Canadians are getting ripped off by these insurance companies, their latest excuse is that we're helping to pay for the parent company's losses from Hurricane Katrina. I already donated to several charities to help, but I guess I'm gonna keep donating through my insurance company. There really ain't no "ride free"
hundred bones a month here in B.C. just bare minimum to get the sticker so I'm legal. 88 FLH bagger. This is with a 5 star rating & 43% reduction in price. Insurance corp of Canada (ICBC). the only available insurance & it's government owned!
You must have heard this saying before, "I love the fu#@ing government & the government loves fu#@ing me"
Hatch.
Pretty much explains why you get ripped off in Canada.
245 a yr. State Farm..Every state and Zip code is a roller coaster..my insurance is so much cheaper in OR. than AZ. I keep them Reg/Ins in OR.save alot $$$$
