Well after years & years of making fun of the guys who wear them. I finally went & got a pair at my dealer & for a good price. The sales woman was great with how to wear them and such. Who knew there was a science to them.
They work well and to be honest I don't know why I didn't do this sooner.
No more changing in & out of gear just to go ride. Just toss them on with the jacket & good to go. I know its not full protection but works for me.
I've been considering some myself, but have read many times that wearing them makes you gay. Only kidding. I just haven't gotten around to it yet, but do think I want some.
Hope their made in the USA. My "America Legend" HD chaps that were made in china just kept falling apart. I ended up getting some Fox Creak chaps. Good luck!
Jeans, Jeans and long johns, jeans and chaps, jeans and long johns and chaps, leather pants, long johns and leather pants, long johns and leather pants and chaps. The order of progression for warmth. Put the bike away til spring.
I had some made at our local leather shop out of buffalo hide. This stuff is about a serious 1/4 inch thick and soft as velvet. They are aaaaaaaawsome and will last my lifetime.
