Biltwell just put up a nice comparison on there site. Some dude wearing The new DOT Biltwell Hustler,Fulmer v2,Bell Custom 500 and the Biltwell Novelty.Still looks kind of big but that s the price you pay.Keep in mind they show a large in the pics. The small, medium are a smaller shelll size.Glad I wear a med.
I stand corrected ,someone was kind enough to post a pic wearing the new Biltwel DOT.It looks huge.It looks bigger than the Bell,Fulmer and Rockhard IMO.Dont know how much smaller the s,m shell is.But DAAAAAMN !!!!! it looks HUGE.
Just got a mail from Bill regarding the color availability on the Hustlers. What a cool guy.
He says the new colors (probably a couple of flake colors and a gloss or two) will probably be out by the summer.
They're using a different factory to produce the Dot helmets and they're very close to getting everything up to quality. They had to train the guys to shoot the flake and get the clear right.
I'm definitely hanging on to my cash for a sick red paint.
The quality of the lining in this looks better than any other DOT 3/4 I've seen. also I like the little chrome strip around the edge.
