Dealer friend told me the first accessory people put on their bikes is a windshield. Fight the urge as long as you can, but the first rock that chips your tooth will make you change your mind.
Didn't see that one the last go round, looks like something from robocop. If you don't have bugs in your teeth, you're not smiling while your riding. Round here cause of the temps, bugs are almost gone for the year. I keep a small bottle of windex and towels, and stop when I need to. Yea, the big ones are a pain!
I don't have a windshield and I ride with a half-helmet & sun/clear glasses. Its great until I get on the highways after sundown and then I get peppered with bugs. Some of them feel like they are the size of hampsters.
Does anyone else have this problem and do you use something to protect your face.
Nope you are the only one. There are no other bugs in America except for on route that you choose to take.
What is amazing to me is; how bugs can hit my forehead between my helmet
and the top of my sunglasses. Even over the windshield on my Heritage. I wear
open face helmets, so there is a gap about a half inch wide and I can get hit by
a bug at any moment. When I ride my Wide Glide or StreetBob, it is still open season
on my forehead. I just live with it.
