in ohio there is a handlebar height law as i assume is some other states. anyone been pulled over for that. what do you think the odds are? don't want to shell out money for handlebars to get hit with a ticket and then have to replace them. thoughts?
My son is legal in CA but when we went to the Laughlin River Run a couple years ago and cruised up to Donkey Town, AZ he got stopped for apes that were too high. The LEO suggested he adjust them down (back) until out of the state but we just cruised back to NV with no more stops. In april we did a week in AZ with no problems.
PA high as you can reach... they changed the law sometime ago used to be shoulder high. I have been told by a friend that he has been stopped for his in FL and Myrtle Beach but not ticketed.
Seen youtube videos of guys getting pulled over for loud pipes and then tickets for their apes being too high. (San Francisco city is doing this)
I think the taller apes look great, but I'm installing 13" for comfort and to avoid johnny lawman that's forced to give tickets because his city is broke or uptight about bikes.
