After retuning from my Colorado trip I noticed an unusual rattling sound I wasn't familar with. It turned out to be the recifier was about to fall off because the mounting bolts were about to fall out. There are no lock washers on the bolts, are there suppose to be?
Same thing happened to my 2000 fxd with about 15k on the clock . I will go around and check fasteners on occasion but I know I missed that one . Blue loctite should do the trick . Surface prep is everything with loctite surfaces must be totally clean .

Hell, ****** was riding with a VTX riding HDF member when he went down and we all know how that turned out.
